McAloo Tikki | McDonald’s

In 2013, the McAloo Tikki, McDonald’s first vegetarian burger, arrived on Singapore’s shores all the way from India. We wanted to celebrate the burger’s roots, as well as highlight its main ingredient - potatoes.

As I had a passion for songwriting (and still do, actually), I composed a melody and wrote lyrics for a music video featuring potatoes… singing about potatoes.

After the ad was released, the song caught on in schools and kids would sing it ad nauseam.
